"PROCLAIMING GOD'S GLORY TO ALL PEOPLE" "Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people." (Psalm 96:3)Why should we put our reputation, our contentment with business as usual, and even our lives in danger in order to spread the name of Jesus Christ around the world? Well, the Psalmist reminds us here that the motivation is not the worthlessness and wickedness of people, but the worthiness and willingness of Christ to save them.Declare the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ among the heathen! Exalt Him before those who have never heard! Tell of His glory wherever you go! Why? Because His excellent greatness is worth all that and more! No matter how well your vocabulary is when you speak about Him, you cannot exaggerate the wonder and majesty of God. No matter where you go, or who you speak with, as Christians, each of us are included and none of us are excluded from this command, “Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name."He created the Earth and Heaven. He breathes life into people, sustains their existence, and even came and died for the sins of His creatures. This Lord, this Saviour is due the worship of all His creation.Is there a co-worker who does not know Christ? Is there a family member with whom you have not witnessed to with the Gospel? Is there a nation to which you have opportunity to go, or help send someone else to go in His name? O, declare His wonders among all people!Friends, make it the determination of your heart today to give the Lord the glory due Him, by declaring and exalting His wonderful name.
