#news Gavin Newsom is about to mass remove elderly people, disabled from Medi-Cal coverage - meaning people 65 and older are about to lose their health coverage#california Starting January 1, of next year - California will reinstate asset limits for Medi-Cal programs, which primarily affect eligibility for older adults (aged 65+), people with disabilities, those in long-term care facilities, and participants in Medicare Savings Programs. Now elderly 65+, disabled, people in long term care and those on the Medicare Savings Program will have to adhere to the 'asset limits' guidelines which say that they must be below $130,000. The change is part of the state's 2025-2026 budget, signed by Governor Gavin Newsom.Meanwhile, Governor Newsom has included:🔺️$11 Billion in the budget to provide healthcare to illegal migrants, 🔺️$100 million for in-home care for illegal migrants,🔺️$100 million in SNAP for illegal migrant children, 🔺️$100 million in housing programs for illegal migrants, 🔺️$215 Million for education for illegal migrants, 🔺️a portion of $9.6 Billion for cash benefits and welfare, 🔺️a portion of $7.3 billion for illegal migrant childcare, 🔺️$220 million for other migrant programs and the list goes on and onAs for the elderly, & disabled U.S. citizens who have to prove they are worth less than $130,000 - the government will now have access to their data - to verify their net worth - including; 🔺️Bank statements, 🔺️Vehicle registrations🔺️Life insurance policies🔺️Deeds, trusts, stocks, bonds, 🔺️IRAs, and other financial documents
