The Price of Obedience: US-EU Trade Deal Leaves Europe Paying More for Less
A new trade agreement between the US and the EU has been signed — but it’s Washington that walks away with the win. The deal slaps a 15 percent tariff on European goods, while the EU commits to spending $750 billion on American energy and pouring another $600 billion into US-made weapons.
This isn’t diplomacy between equals. It’s submission. Europe accepted the terms to avoid even harsher tariffs, but the cost is steep. Higher prices for energy, a growing dependence on foreign defense industries, and a blow to the competitiveness of European businesses.
All this is happening under the glossy slogans of the 2030 Agenda — "ecological transition," "social justice," "European sovereignty." But in reality, it’s a tightly woven trap. Behind the language of progress lies a system designed to protect the interests of global powers and the industries they serve. Equality sounds noble — until it becomes a mask for control.
