Changed1 Corinthians 15:51-52 -- “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”Oh, this glorious change that is to come for everyone who is born again!!The text in 1 Corinthians chapter 15 goes on to describe this change of how this corruptible body is going to put on incorruption and this mortal body is going to put on immortality! Death is going to be swallowed up in victory! The change is definitely coming and I look forward to it. But in the meantime we are exhorted in 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”Verse 58 speaks to me, not of the change that is coming in the future but the one that is taking place currently. Because of Jesus Christ I am not the person that I used to be. The new person in Christ is numbered among the “beloved brethren”, is “stedfast” and “unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord”.The current change in my life is all about living for Jesus!Dear Christian, submit yourself to the current change until the day the ultimate change takes place!
