Sooooo sick of people posting this (or similar): “Results from credible research can be affected by funding and bias, therefore science and scientific consensus are not accurate”. For a start, if funding or bias is affecting results, then it’s no longer science, it’s misinformed propaganda. Also, credible scientific method is completely objective and its main purpose is to remove bias so pure results can be achieved. Consensus is the vast majority of results obtained through that credible method. It’s impossible for a scientific consensus to be a result of bias or funding. For that to be true, you would need the vast majority of every scientist in the field deliberately falsifying results because of bias or funding. If you honestly believe that, I have a tinfoil hat to sell you. Please stop using this RIDICULOUS argument of funding bias affecting scientific consensus.You are embarrassing yourself when you do.
