My first Job (other than paper boy from 9 to 14 years old) was at Big Eds' Pizza in Oak Ridge, Tennesee. Big Ed Neusel. We found out after his death, he was an Honorable Marine Sniper in the Viet Nam Conflict. He kept that to himself the entire 55 years He ran his eatery, Eds' Sons still run this Pizza house, that has had about every famous person, and nuclear scientist, as well as Al Gore, and Bill/Hillary Clinton eat at it. I had the honor of working with this man, at this Pizza Place, from the age of 14 to 17. Awesome man, Awesome Pizza, (rumored also to have Italian Mob ties *chuckles*) and the first place I got to make a Pizza for a Hollywood Star, Several Politicians, and Nuclear Scientists from all over the world. MERRY CHRISTMAS BIG ED! There are only TWO Big Eds' Pizza on the planet, Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Birmingham, Alabama, Big Ed started his TWO units from his GI Bill and have created a HISTORICAL ICON!
