Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful w o r k s of darkness, but rather r e p r o v e [them].
REPROVE: DEFINED, L. reprobo re and probo, to prove.
1. To b l a m e to censure. I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices - Psalms 50 .
2. To charge with a f a u l t to the face to chide to reprehend. -- Luke 3.
3. To b l a m e for with of as, to reprove one of laziness.
4. To c o n v i n c e of a fault, or to make it manifest.
The preacher’s preaching is s u p p o s e to REPROVE YOU.
This type of preaching is h a t e d today.
Christians should ask themselves, 'why do I h a t e preaching that reproves'.
Your preacher is expected to e x p o s e sin.
If not, you need to find a church with a r e a l preacher.
Christians will naturally flock a r o u n d preachers who preach love and nothing about sin.
The basis of the Gospel b e g i n s with your realization that you ARE a Sinner and need a savior.
The Saviour came to this world because of his love for his creation (you), not because he loves y o u r sinfulness.
Now, God loves you but God will n o t tolerate your sins.
God and his preacher will e x p o s e your sinfulness and if you don’t like it, then you don’t respect God and His word.
So, if you don’t like this post, that’s ok.
I will let you a r g u e with God on the judgment Day.
