Recently I was asked who I was named after... Well here's the story.I was born on a Friday in 1947. Mom was in the hospital yet Sunday morning when my dad came to visit his wife and newborn son, who had Not Been Named Yet... As mom and dad chatted that Sunday morning dad read the newspaper. When the discussion got around to what they should name their new son, my dad was reading the Sunday Comics. While reading the Winnie Winkle comic he laughed at one of the strips characters Denny Dimwit... My dad turned to my mom and said... "I think Denny Dimwit would be proud if we named our son after him." So my initals are DD (Dennis Dale) in honor of the comic strip DD (Denny Dimwit).... For some silly reason I've alway been proud of the mis-adventures of Denny Dimwit.... From the both of us, we hope youse Have a Wonderful and Blessed Christmas...
