They don’t see the hood as a place to fix or escape from. They see it as a place that makes you tough, strong and “authentic”. They think growing up…aka surviving.. in dangerous areas of Detroit, L.A., the Bronx, is a badge of honor they wish they had. They have no interest in changing a single thing about those cities. The worse they get the better it is for the AOCs of the world. That’s because these muthafarkers never went to bed at night to the sound firetrucks, ambulances and no police sirens. They never had to tell their kids to sleep in the bathtub because it might protect them from stray bullets.These politicians think your inner-city life is a game of GTA. It’s not real to them at all.
