Question...Why did Noah find grace in the eyes of the Lord?Answer...Noah was excepted from this destruction, because he himself was an exception to the sinful condition of mankind. Noah was not wicked. He was not corrupt or violent. Like his ancestor Enoch, Noah walked with God as did some others ( Genesis 4:26)He did not live as a rebel against God as most did.Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God....Genesis 6:9Noah, after being given instructions in building the enormous ark did not question or complain..Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he...Genesis 6:22For thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation....Genesis 7:1..Others could,va been righteous too but they refused the Lord in their life.Question to ask God when I get there...What happened to the others who called on the Lord? I’m sure with the long life spans they were still living when Noah was commissioned.And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men ( plural) to call upon the name of the LORD....Genesis 4:26Another point..So obedient was Noah that when he saw the dry land he did not immediately get out but still waited on God almost 2 months till God said to leave in vs 16Compare ... And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.With verse 14...14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.By my math that’s 57 days Noah waited on God.
