Crimes Against Children Continue To Plague The Catholic Church
The revelations coming out about a now closed home for unwed mothers in a small town in Ireland sound like a horror story straight out of The Handmaid’s Tale.
Investigators have begun the forensic excavation on a septic tank, dubbed the pit, at a site in Tuam, County Galway, where authorities believe they’ll find the remains of 796 dead babies and children who died at the Ben Secours Mother and Baby Home for single mothers run by Catholic nuns.
