RELIGIOUS SALESMEN God called us to be WITNESSES (Acts 1:8), not high-pressure religious salesmen. I recently ran across an article where one of these empty-believist leaders gave "soul winning" advice by saying, "If you want a YES answer, ask a YES question," meaning that we shouldn't do or say anything that might cause the sinner to hesitate or say no. In other words, FORGET THE TRUTH and FORGET HOLY SPIRIT CONVICTION. Just push the sales pitch and force a profession. "If you want a YES answer, ask a YES question." I don't want a YES answer; I want a TRUE answer, because I am led by the Spirit of TRUTH and I'm witnessing to the TRUTH about Jesus Christ. These people are disgusting, and I have less less respect for them with each passing day. I have a theory as to why these people prefer being called "soul winners" over being called "witnesses," but I'll not address that at this time. Let's just remember that "A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies." (Pro. 14:5) A man who leads you to believe that you are saved by repeating an empty prayer is a LIAR and a FALSE witness. He's a religious salesman, not a soul winner.
