We've just lost Walter Scott of The Whispers at the age of 82. This group was synonymous with the hits, "And The Beat Goes On," "It's A Love Thing", "Keep On Loving Me," and "Rock Steady." I recall seeing them at the Wolf's Den at Mohegan Sun Casino and met both Walter and Scotty afterwards backstage. I came away with a signed album and CD from the group prior to them losing Nicholas Caldwell to cancer. It's sad that legends like this are being lost to cheap sounding no talents whose junk music is being pushed onto us by corporate radio!! Rest Well Walter Scott 😞😞😞
