Proverbs 28:14 - - Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his h e a r t shall f a l l into mischief. HAPPY: The h a p p y person is the man who knows what it means to 'f e a r' the Lord. Fear does not m e a n to be scared but has the connotation of respect. Those who have no f e a r, will fall into various forms of m i s c h i e f which brings c o n s e q u e n c e s from your mischief.There comes a time when your c o n s e q e n c e s from your mischief will have the affect of increasing your h a r d e n e s s of your senses for what is right and wrong.Once h a r d e n you will be the last to realize it while others can easily see that your life is off track. Now, the longer you live with h a r d n e s s of heart the longer it will take for you to realize it or for you to t u r n back to God.The harden h e a r t is very protective of the cause(s) that produced the effect of hardness. Now, m e a s u r e your happiness to see if it is from God or this world. If it is from this world, your life has been filled with mischief, which leads to hardness.If it is from God, your life is filled with love which keeps your heart soft and open to God’s will.
