The gluten free movement is a textbook example of fear mongering for profit.1. Scare people into believing gluten is dangerous without evidence. 2. Provide an alternative product that is way overpriced. 3 Profit from morons. Sure, there are people with coeliacs disease, but they are less than 1% of the population. Now days supermarkets have entire aisles dedicated to gluten free. The coeliacs must be stoked with the huge amount of available options (but not the ridiculous prices).
