The picture illustrates why a saved person is standing B E H I N D the cross and not in FRONT of the cross.I stand in the S H A D O W of the cross because salvation is of HIM and not found in me.ONLY Jesus is m a d e ‘to be sin’ for us.Only Jesus is c a l l e d the Saviour.God does not s h a r e that title of Saviour with you, your church, or your good works.So, either you are standing B E H I N D the cross with Jesus as your Saviour or you are boasting and positioning yourself in F R O N T of the cross as if your personal goodness is equal to his or as if your good works are as important as His work at Calvary.Now, e x a m i n e your thoughts because You can have years of Bible knowledge, like Judas, but still go to Hell if you have the wrong message of salvation.If you p e r s I s t to stand B E F O R E God, then you R O B God of his glory. When you rob God of his glory then it will not end well with you.Therefore, take your p r o p e r place in God’s plan of salvation and never put yourself in front of God.
