Ephesians 4:32 (KJV) And be ye k i n d one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
—-—————— Or ————————
Psalm 35:26 (KJV) Let them be a s h a m e d and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify [themselves] against me.
SHAME: When any person from any church does something harmful, p r a y for them.
God will do what’s right even when man does not.
The first verse should always be your ‘g o t o’ verse.
You are to forgive b e c a u s e you are forgiven! Whether you want to forgive doesn’t matter.
If the person continues to be h u r t f u l, then pray the second verse.
No matter what’s happening in your life don’t b l a m e God or give up on God.
When bad things happened to Jesus, he p r a y e d for his enemies and those who framed him and even when Judas forsook him for 30 pieces of Silver.
God didn’t q u i t even after they crucified him. He arose in victory.
Jesus still met with his disciples e v e n after his resurrection when they were not waiting for him at his tomb (He told them in three days he would resurrect).
Jesus had every reason to q u i t but he didn’t.
So, when I hear of people q u i t t i n g Church, I’m amazed at their childish, and selfish behaviour.
I’m happy/amazed/grateful/thankful that God n e v e r ‘gave up’ on me and you should be the s a m e.
