This is a very sad story, BUT the much bigger question is just how many countries, including the USA, have "turned a blind eye" to the international adoption "gray market" that CONTINUES to traffic children around the world??
From 1440 on Instagram - "A 72-year-old South Korean mother, Choi Young-ja, is suing the South Korean government and the country's largest adoption agency after learning that her missing toddler son was secretly adopted to Norway in 1975 without her consent. She spent nearly 50 years searching for him, only discovering the truth through a DNA match in 2023. Choi says the adoption agency, Holt, wrongly listed her son as an abandoned orphan, even though she had reported him missing and visited Holt while he was in their custody."
