Philippians 3 ends with a ringing declaration that one day God is going to "change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself“ or "re-schematic” our earthly bodies. They will be raised from the dead and “re-engineered” to be like his glorious body. In the words of one commentator, we will be “raised and beautified.” I like the sound of that. I want to be raised, and I definitely need to be beautified.
