“Part-time Palm Springs resident, Joe Fusco, the one-time head of Al Capone’s prohibition era beer manufacturing operation, is seen meeting with Chicago mobsters Tony Accardo, Rocky Fischetti and Jake Guzik, New York boss Frank Costello, Genovese associate Phil Castel and Abe Pritzker. (1949)" It's interesting that Illinois governor JB Pritzker's grandfather, Abe, was in tight with the Chicago Outfit. I always wondered how the Pritzker’s became so wealthy. At this point I can only assume any large company with roots in Chicago dating back to the 1940s and 50s was probably infiltrated by the Outfit? I guess Hyatt received its seed money from the Chicago mob. Had Abe been a front for the Outfit his whole life? And then I see in 1976 the Mayor of Miami showed preferential treatment to Abe Pritzker for him to run an amusement park in the Miami area. I wonder why the mayor "wanted" to do that? People say Tony Accardo could have been a great CEO of a Fortune 100 company but to me it seems like past and present CEOs have copied Accardo’s business plan.
