Lest They Also Come Into This Place!Luke 16:28“For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.”In Luke 16:19-31 Jesus tells a story of a rich man who died and “in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments”. This man did not find himself in hell because he was rich but because he had rejected Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. We must never forget that Hell is a literal, eternal place, of fire and torment, in which those who reject Jesus Christ will go to when they die. In hell this man was conscious of his five brothers. He was hoping and praying that someone could be sent unto them and testify unto them of Jesus Christ and warn them “lest they also come into this place”. Those who believe in hell the most are those who are currently there. Death is real and one better take seriously the truth of where they will spend eternity when they die. Hell is real and I can assure you that everyone who is there wishes that their loved ones back on earth would be warned of hell’s torments.The truth that Jesus Christ came into this world and died on the cross and shed His blood, was buried and rose again the third day is the Good News!Do you believe the Good News that Jesus saves!If so, who do you know that you need to testify of His saving grace?
