My husband and I had hamburgers in the living room one night. I left mine on the arm of the couch before I even touched it our dog ate it while I was getting a drink from the kitchen.

Learned a long time ago anytime you have food you have to take it with you if you go for a drink or anything else in another room. Place it high and back on the counter. A kitchen table is not a safe place either.
