2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature: OLD things are passed away; behold, all things are become NEW.
NEW vs OLD: I fully understand ' w h a t ' salvation is: Jesus died for us, paid our sin debt, was buried and arose again (resurrection).
There is nothing difficult about understanding salvation.
However, when you b e l i e v e the Gospel you not only believe Christ died for you, b u t you also believe what it means to be a 'n e w' c r e a t u r e.
No Christian is p e r f e c t but no supposed christian resembles the d e v i l more than they do J e s u s C h r i s t.
When you s o u n d like the devil, a c t like the devil, v o i d of joy like the devil, bitter like the devil and just plain m e a n like the devil then your are not a 'n e w c r e a t u r e' but just the 'old' sinner that you've always been.
So, what happened? It’s e a s y to become religious, filled with empty works, songs, and church habits, but still the old sinner who pretends to love but loves to sin.
Now, are you ‘v e r y' religious or are you actually a saved born again child of God who is not ashamed of the Gospel, God, Church, and your Christian Faith.
If you are A S H A M E D to live for God, then maybe you are NOT a ’n e w' creature but still the 'o l d'.
So, if your life still s t i n k s with sinfulness and you l i v e like the devil then you are still that same old sorry good for nothing sinner who likes to play games with God and your eternal soul.
