Well, well, well...#New Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs Agriculture Employee Arrested For Smuggling Illegal Migrants Into The Country#Arizona Joshu Castro, an employee at the Arizona Department of Agriculture was arrested for charging an illegal migrant from Mexico $12,000 to sneak him across the border, as well as charging another illegal migrant $7,500 to traffick him into the country. According to court records, Castro was arrested north of Nogales on April 10th after Border Patrol agents saw him driving with two passengers in the rear seats of his car. Agents had seen Castro driving in the area the day before and recognized his vehicle. The passengers turned out to be two illegal migrants from Mexico who said they just crossed the border. Castro was not on duty at the time of his arrest, however he was wearing his uniform, according to state officials briefed on the incident.Republican State Senator Jay Kaufman issued a statement saying, "It's no wonder Hobbs vetoes every piece of meaningful border security legislation." "When on her watch, her own state employee is being arrested and prosecuted for human smuggling".Castro is facing two federal charges: one felony and one misdemeanor.The incident threatens to derail Gov.
