It’s simple! The Bible will s h o w you who and what you look like. God uses exact words so that you will understand sinfulness: 1. Adulterer 2. Drunkard 3. Liar 4. Thief 5. Sodomite 6. Idolater 7. BackBiterNow, these are just a few i d e n t i f i e r s that are almost absence in our thoughts since they reveal to the reader something is bad.People usually despise being shown the mirror when it comes looking at their sinful deeds. Every person, who is living in sin, desires to see themselves not to be as sinful as others, which is used as a distraction so that their sin, which is present in their life, won’t be as evident. Those others, who might be worst then you, should never be seen as an excuse to deflect your eyes from your own sinfulness. God didn’t give scriptures so that you could h i d e in your sinfulness. God gave the scriptures so you could learn about yourself and repent. Now, if you don’t repent, which d i f f e r s from regrets, then you will consistently r e p e a t the above and then justify your actions as normal, needed, justified, instead of being sorrowful and repentant.God gave the us the HOLY Scriptures so that we could l e a r n how to live a holy life.A holy life is not walking around c h a n t i n g words like a monk. A holy life is really a simple life of f a i t h f u l n e s s and l o v e. Now, the next time you look in the mirror, think about what G o d sees in you and also what has the world s e e n in you. Open your Bible, read until God s h o w s you something that you don’t see about yourself.
