In fact, they take every opportunity to spit in the face of American citizens, justifying the Democrat party’s feeble 21% approval rating.The most recent example is Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen—Maryland’s own white knight in shining armor—who jetted off to El Salvador for a heart-to-heart with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a deported Salvadoran who the Trump administration says is a MS-13 gangbanger.Democrats are doubling down on a strategy that paints them as the party of open borders and closed hearts, at least when it comes to American victims. Van Hollen’s Salvadoran adventure, complete with photo ops and impassioned pleas, might win him points with the progressive crowd, but it’s alienating everyone else.
