By Beth Ann Hendrix SpracklenI love this portrayal of the Nativity. Before the shepherds come running, before anyone shows up with gifts, there's just Mary, exhausted from childbirth, and Joseph, overwhelmed by the task in front of him, and the baby, the baby that changes everything. The realism and beauty of this moment are breathtaking. I love the Christmas spirit but cherish the quiet moments as well. When we are exhausted and overwhelmed, God sustains us and reminds us of the true meaning if the season. Forgive people that love you, be kind to others, and keep the true meaning of Christmas in your heart.
