Some major healing going on as the swelling in my chest is finally subsiding at almost 30 days after surgery. The costalsternal joints suffered immensely from the rib spreader and have caused intense pain which was mostly relieved last night. I rolled over in bed and possibly as many as ten locations realigned all at once, each one with a distinctive "pop". Momentarily painful, it relieved 90% of my chest pain. I'll never do this again, but the journey has been interesting regardless of the painful violation of my body. Hoping my left clavicle decides to realign and remain in place.
