Living For Him2 Corinthians 5:14-15“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”The word “constraineth” means to compress and hold together. The love of Christ can keep us from falling away. What did the love of Christ bring to the world? His love brought salvation to all, but that does not mean all are or will be saved. We know that “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord” (Romans 10:13) can be saved by the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Those who are saved should not desire to live for themselves but “unto Him who died for them, and rose again”.What are you thinking about when you pillow your head at night? What is it that gets you out of bed in the morning and on your way?Who are you really living for?How often do you think of the fact that Jesus Christ loves you and it was for you that He died and rose again?
