The Love Of God There is a question asked in Romans 8:35 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” This question is answered in Romans 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”Through my years as a Christian I have never doubted that God loved me. Even going back in my mind to the days before I trusted Jesus Christ as my Saviour I do not ever remember doubting that God loved me. Today I am more assured of God’s love for me than ever! I am confident that nothing, not even death, can separate me from God’s love. What a powerful grip God’s love has on each of His children.“O love that will not let me go, I rest my weary soul in thee; I give thee back the life I owe, That in thine ocean depths its flowMay richer, fuller be.” Dear reader, never forget that someoneloves you with a great and powerful love. That Someone is God!
