The world boasts, "I am the master of my fate, the captain of my soul!" And the world also teaches us to live for self and put God and others second, if they come into consideration at all. But the wisdom of God found in Scripture teaches the opposite. We need to trust God's Word more than our own thinking and to accept all of the Bible's doctrines even when we don't fully understand them.
