What is the Gospel?They Apostle Paul clearly defines the Gospel!1Corinthians 15:1. Moreover, brethren, I d e c l a r e unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;IT’S DECLARED: Preached by Paul, the Corinths received it and stand by it. 2 By which also ye are s a v e d, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.SAVED: If you believe this, you are s a v e d. If you believe anything else, your belief is in vain. 3 ¶ For I d e l i v e r e d unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES: Christ died for our sins. 4 And that he was b u r i e d, and that he r o s e again the third day according to the scriptures:RESURRECTION: Buried and rose again. The Gospel is n o t just believing in a person named Jesus. The Devils believed in Jesus and trembled but they are not saved. The Gospel is n o t about your c h u r c h. The church is to preach ‘The Gospel’ without corrupting it with a combination of works. The Devil desires to d i v e r t your mind from the scriptures to a religion that corrupts the gospel. The Devil knows he can’t stop the Gospel but he can corrupt it by including religious works to make salvation a formula of religious rites. Don’t fall for the lie that you can w o r k your way into heaven or that Jesus needs your help with his provision of salvation. If your w o r k s are required then you become a Co-Saviour. O n l y Jesus has the Title of Saviour and only he can save! He needs no help to save the sinner. Galatians 2:16. K n o w i n g that a man is n o t justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and n o t by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
