HISTORY...This a view of the several thousand glass prisms on the floor of the South Dakota State Capitol.When the building was under construction the architects thought these would look great. They contacted the S. D. State Penitentiary about having them made in their glass factory. A deal was struck and somewhere around 6000 or so were contracted to be delivered to Pierre.
