2 Corinthians 4:3 - But if our g o s p e l be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: HID: The Gospel is clear, plain, centers on the S a v i o u r and not on man and his church. However, once it is 'mixed' with church requirements, it becomes hidden since the Gospel is buried amongst religious rituals.The Gospel is 'not' centered upon man's a b i l i t i e s to earn it through his individual works.The Gospel is 'not' e a r n e d or m e r i t e d through your church. Your church is 'not' part of the Gospel.The Gospel p r o d u c e s a 'transformation' within the believer but when there's been no transformation from this world then the person has believed a 'false' Gospel since they are still conformed to this world. The Gospel has been watered down to n o t h i n g more then an 'admission' that there is a Jesus 'called' the Saviour who died for you which is nothing more then a historical presentation of the Gospel. The Gospel is to be P R E A C H E D so that a person will 'confess' their sin and need for the Saviour who died for you.Now, what the difference: Many k n o w enough church history to 'admit' they are wrong but do not k n o w enough Bible to 'confess' they are sinful and need a Saviour.
