2 Corinthians 8:2 - Providing for h o n e s t things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. PIC: A S H A M E D of nothing and O F F E N D E D by everything.God calls man's wisdom to be n o t h i n g more than: 'foolishness'. Most of man's wisdom begins with lies and/or dishonesty.When you f a i l to be honest, you will i n h e r i t the foolishness that follows your dishonesty. Foolishness is the r e s u l t of rejecting God's truth for your own lies which you treat as a truth.Therefore, the more f o o l i s h you become the more you will lack shame and easily to be offended by t r u t h.In other words, you will always be on the opposite side of truth since you enjoy being the fool.Now, what are some e x a m p l e s of the 'wisdom of the world'?(1) Evolution vs Creation - you are made in God's image. (Gen 1)(2) All Religions lead to Heaven - God, the Creator, the Saviour, tells us that there is only 'One Way' - Jesus Christ (John 14:6).(3) I'm Good Enough to get to heaven - God says you are not good enough: Romans 3:10, 23.(4) My church will get me to heaven - The Bible says nothing about a church having the power to get you to heaven. (5) God loves me just as I am, which is a partial truth. God loves the sinner enough to die for them. If you receive God's love then you no longer love the world or its habits, but you are transformed to love God's ways over your own ways.6. The Bible is out of date and needs to be updated: God's word is eternal. To say or believe that the Bible is 'out of date' means you lower God to man's standards and vocabulary.7. Church is out of date and needs to modernized: God's church is a people separated from the world. Each generation wants to include an aspect of the world (music, dress, tolerance, etc.) into their church but God wants us to be different in all of them.8. Sodom and Gomorrah are examples of how God is offended by sin. You can't say that is only for the Old and not for the New Testament.9. Children can be exposed and sexualized through books and drag queens while in Kindergarten or per-school. Educational institutions have no rights to program your children to accept their attitudes towards their life styles.10. God's name or his laws are only for Sunday. God expects the world to honor his name, his laws, and his truth, seven days a week and not just one day a week.Now, I could list more than the above, but if your wisdom disagrees with God's truth, then you are GUILTY of promoting man's wisdom which is foolishness with God.
