HOW TO BELIEVE AND STILL GO TO HELL Someone made light of my preaching against empty believism by basically saying that it doesn't matter "as long as one believes . . . that's all that matters . . . if he believes, easy/empty or whatever, he's saved." That's a lie straight from hell, and that's the number-one reason for me preaching so hard against empty believism. What these fundamentalist clowns fail to realize is that there's MORE THAN ONE KIND OF BELIEF. Even THE DEVIL believes that Jesus is the Son of God who died and rose again, but does that save him? Of course not. The devils believe and tremble (James 2:19), but none of them are saved. The whole point in preaching against empty believism is that people are believing WITH THEIR HEADS ONLY without any Holy Ghost conviction and belief IN THE HEART. Hence: EMPTY believism, as in EMPTY hearts. Romans 10:10 says, "For WITH THE HEART man believeth unto righteousness . . ." When a man believes only in his head, his heart is EMPTY of Jesus Christ and salvation, and he is no more saved than the devil. Leave it to these fundamentalist, Laodicean morons to completely miss the entire point and double-down on their willful, blind stupidity. A man who has truly believed on Christ in his heart is a saved man and a changed man (II Cor. 5:17), but a man who has believed only in his head is LOST, and anyone who who tells him otherwise will give account to God. In my years of being a Christian, I haven't met even half a dozen empty believists who knew enough Bible to teach a youth class. Most of those people are nothing but dead, fundamentalist robots that were programmed at someone's school for the purpose tallying up fake conversions and calling it "soul winning." Anyone who defends such madness is as blind as a bat and possibly lost.
