THE MARK OF THE BEAST With the emergence of pandemics, vaccines, biochips and high tech identification systems, our society is rapidly approaching the possibility of a major Bible prophecy being fulfilled. In reference to the coming Antichrist, or “the beast,” Revelation 13:16-18 says, “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” Throughout the twentieth century we saw blind world leaders work tirelessly to build the very global government that Revelation 13 warns us about, and today we see the final steps being taken. There isn’t space enough in this brief tract to go into detail about Revelation’s Mark of the Beast, but there IS space to warn you that the return of Jesus Christ is near and you should receive Him as your Saviour while you still can. Exactly what form (or forms) the coming Mark of the Beast will eventually take, no one knows, but we do know that billions of deceived people will be required to take the mark, the name, or the number of the Beast in their right hands or in their foreheads (Rev. 13:16-18; 14:9-11; 15:2). Those who do so will be accounted as worshippers of Satan and damned forever: “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” (Rev. 14:11) Rather than wait and become a victim of Satan’s reign of terror, you can receive Jesus Christ instead and escape the wrath to come. Jesus, the Son of God, died for your sins on Calvary’s cross and then rose again to be a living Saviour for all who truly believe (I Cor. 15:1-4). John 1:12 says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) The Bible says that you are a lost sinner (Rom. 3:23) and that you must become a newborn creature in Christ in order to escape Hell (II Cor. 5:17). Without Jesus Christ, you are God’s enemy and you are going to Hell. That’s the BAD news . . . The GOOD news is that your hopeless condition can change RIGHT NOW. Romans 10:9-10 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” If you believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died to pay for your sins and rose again the third day, then you can CALL UPON HIM RIGHT NOW with a sincere prayer from the heart that God will hear and answer. Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
