Temporal VS. Eternal2 Corinthians 4:17-18“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”As a Christian it is good to view things as temporal versus eternal. The temporal things of life are but for a moment, a season, they are only for a while, or they are temporary. But the eternal things are the things of life that will never cease, they are forever, they are the things we will take with us into eternity in Heaven. The temporal things of life are very easily seen but the eternal things are not seen, because they are known only by faith. Have you ever went through your personal life, considering all the parts of your life, and examining them in light of those two words temporal versus eternal? Believe me it is quite an eye-opening experience. It is quite a sobering experience.I challenge you today to look at your life, what you do, what you possess, what you may invest in. Try not to leave anything that is a part of your life unchecked. View it all in light of what is temporal and what is eternal.
