March 2, 1943 | Approximately 1,500 Jewish children, men and women arrive to #Auschwitz in a transport from the German Reich. 973 of them are immediately killed in the gas chambers.
Later that day another transport arrives from Berlin and 1,350 deportees out of 1,500 are killed
