The Social Security Administration is under review by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which recently said it found that millions of dead people were listed as eligible for benefits in the agency’s database. More than 12 million people were listed as being aged above 120 years old. When these dead people are eliminated from the SSI rolls it will save $173 billion which can then be kept in the agency fund and extend to life of benefits for legitimate recipients and keep Social Security from going under in four years.
