6/23/2018 - 2ND TRIP OVER TO ST. MARTINVILLE, LOUISIANA (2 of 4)2 of 4: Old Castillo B & B (built ca. 1827 by Captain Edmond Castillo), which is right next door to Evangeline Park on Bayou Teche, a couple of shots of downtown St. Martinville, and lunch at The St. John Restaurant. Very good food and great atmosphere! It was blistering hot, so we REALLY, REALLY enjoyed their local brew, Canebrake. The Live Oak tree must be the most photographed tree in the area on the internet. We accidentally ran across it one block behind the Old Castillo B & B in a neighborhood.
