23. And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,24. Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.25. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.Mark 1:23-24. If you believe that church is a safe place from demons, this proves that false. The man was in the synagogue, and the demon came in with him. You can have Jesus in you, or you can be targeted by devils. Jesus is with all the redeemed saying He would never leave us nor forsake us. The demons testify that Jesus is from God, that Jesus is Holy, and Jesus has the power to destroy them. Men in Jesus's time performed elaborate ceremonies to cast out demons and failed. Jesus because He has all authority over heaven and earth, said be quiet and come out, and the demons obeyed. Jesus is a kind and loving Savior. Satan is evil and a cruel master. You choose who you serve. Make a wise decision. Amen.
