A Vision for Governance:In the context of today's socio-economic challenges, I propose a series of reforms to redistribute power and responsibility back to the citizens: These reforms aim to empower communities, minimize governmental overreach, and restore power to the people, cultivating a society where responsibility, integrity, and common sense are paramount.Blind Trust for Politicians: To sever personal gain from public service, all elected officials would place their assets in blind trusts, ensuring decisions are made for the public good, not personal benefit.Since it is so easy for politicians and Presidents of the United States to amplify business practices and produce massive financial gains, it is not far from reality for a politician or president to increase their net worth. Therefore, I propose that all politicians and presidents, prior to being elected or appointed, must enact a true blind trust with no prior affiliation by trade, family, or close companion. This is to prevent the exposure or exploitation of personal financial gains, ensuring public trust and stifling corruption within our United States.On the subject of public service being strictly voluntary:The following fields should also be no-monetary and strictly voluntary: the medical and scientific fields.
