And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.6. He is not here: for he is risen, and he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Matter 28:3-6. The testimony here is the guards left to keep the tomb secure could not stop the angel from rolling back the stone. The women who had wondered how they would open the tomb saw the angel roll it back and sit on the stone. The guards scared to death became paralyzed to move. Yet the women listened to what the angel would say. Here are the words to strengthen any doubt, to provide hope in Christ for all who would seek His face. He is not here: He is risen. Come see where the Lord lay. Christ had already left the tomb before the angel arrived. Christ is before us, He is on our side. Never has anyone loved you like the Son of God. Believe, listen, follow Him, and you will never regret it. Amen.
