HopeRomans 8:24-25 -- “For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.”The word HOPE here is defined as the sure expectation of good. Hope is powerful. But hope that is anchored in the promises of God is very powerful! The person who is presently saved is saved from sin’s power and sin’s penalty, but there is a future day that he or she will be saved from sin’s presence. Heaven is promised by God to all who have by faith repented of their sins and trusted Jesus Christ as their Saviour.Jesus promised in John 14:2-3 -- “In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”Today I anchor my hope in the promise that I have a mansion in heaven, a place Jesus has prepared, and that He promised “I will come again”! You Have To Believe In Happiness- “Ah, that's the reason a bird can sing, on his darkest day he believes in Spring”.Dear Christian, your present day may be dark but take hope! Heaven awaits us and Jesus is coming again!
