1 Timothy 1:13 (KJV) - Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did [it] ignorantly in unbelief.
BEFORE: Instead of telling me how b a d you are let me tell you how God took the worst of the worst and turned him into an Apostle.
The Apostle Paul was the ‘chief’ of sinners!
1 Timothy 1:15 (KJV) This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am c h i e f.
So, if you r e c o g n i z e that you are a sinner then it is easy to accept Jesus as your Savior. Sinners, realize they can't save themselves.
It’s the r e l i g i o u s and self righteous that are difficult to reach since they think their own goodness will get them to heaven instead of the goodness of God. Churches are plagued with the 'self-righteous'.
Romans 3:10 (KJV) As it is written, There is n o n e righteous, no, not one:
