A Collect for the Early Evening ALMIGHTY GOD, we give thee thanks for surrounding us, as daylight fades, with the brightness of the vesper light; and we implore thee of thy great mercy that, as thou hast enfold us with the radiance of this light, so thou would shine into our hearts the brightness of thy Holy Spirit; through our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, who lives and reigns, One God, Now and Forever, Indeed. AMEN
