I knew a lady in Toledo( decent size place) thst took in strays that hung around her house my a major hwy and overpass. All 10 she had were strays. She vetted all regularly and if all 10 needed special food- she did that. Her home Never smelled of cat. Constantly cleaned and changed litter boxes
