Critical Musings: Declassified DocumentsI have to address some discrepancies and utilize critical thought in regards to Martin Luther King Jr. and other influential individuals. We must naturally assume that, regardless of public standing, mankind has faults. Most of us are ashamed of our shortcomings. While morally speaking, it is wrong, we often find ourselves grappling with these realities. It is, however, common for men and women and not unexpected. It is a shocking revelation knowing someone's faults.The family's desire for early access to documents might suggest an intent to control some narrative, but what are the implications of this? One might speculate that they aim to control the narrative. By making declassified documents public, it suggests no one has direct control over the narratives or legacies of individuals like Martin Luther King, Jr. or others like JFK.Now, with attempts at controlling the narrative, these people are trying to cause strife by making public shocking statements.
