1/10/2018 - DANDELION & HOVER FLIES - The only little flower on the property in bloom right now in the middle of winter on this oomy, gloomy day. It sticks out like a little ball of sunshine right there in the middle of my garden. And who knew hover flies were so colorful and beautiful? They are super beneficial to us gardeners and to people who like to eat food. They help control aphids and are great little pollinators, just as good as any honeybee, so just live and let live.
